The "Green Cat" Hunt You’ve landed. You have your bags. Now you need to find the Black Cat (Kuroneko) logo. The Reality: The counters are often tucked away at the very end of the departure or arrival halls. If you don't know where to look, you’ll walk right past them. --- Narita Airport (NRT) Terminal 1 (South Wing - Arrivals): Location: Exit customs into the Arrival Hall (1F). Turn Left. Walk all the way to the end. Look for: The "GPA" or "JAL ABC" counters. Yamato often operates through these agents.
Look for the yellow/black cat logo. Terminal 2 (Arrivals): Location: Exit customs (1F). Look straight ahead or slightly to the right. It is usually near the bus ticket counters. Haneda Airport (HND) Terminal 3 (International): Location: Arrivals Lobby (2F). Look for the "JAL ABC" counter on the far right side as you exit customs. They handle Yamato shipping. Warning: The queues here can be long (30+ mins) in peak season. Send one person to line up while the other waits for the bags. How to Fill Out the Waybill You will see a form (Denpyo).
1. To: Write your Hotel Name (in English is fine) and Address. 2. Date: Write your Check-In Date. 3. Contents: Write "SKIS" or "SNOWBOARD." 4. Payment: They accept credit cards or cash. Expect ~2500 - 3000 Yen per bag. --- Take a photo of the Waybill number immediately. If your bag is delayed, this photo is the only way your hotel can track it for you.
